04 May, 2016

The Gross Automation Team of Robert Gross, Paul Gallagher, David Stauff and William Gross were awarded their graduation certificate from the Scalerator3 program of Scale Up Milwaukee, an initiative of the Greater Milwaukee Committee on Tuesday May 3rd, 2016.

The Greater Milwaukee Area has been identified as having the best ecosystem in the country for scaling up a business. The Scalerator program identifies existing businesses poised for rapid growth and then gives them the boost that they need to take them to the next level. The business education program provides an intense 27 week training initiative to help these businesses grow and succeed in their market.

Included in the educational part of the program, were in-depth coverage of topics:

• marketing strategy
• sales methods
• financing tactics
• organization and planning
• management design and policy

All topics were then discussed in depth with small team interactions after completing specific homework related to an area of business growth and activity.

Robert Gross, President and CEO of Gross Automation, said, “This is an incredible program that marries business education with the practical applications specific to our size of business, our evolution in the marketplace and our team’s experience. How can we not “scale up” our business after this? Thank you Scale Up Milwaukee for helping us to secure and grow our future.”

For over 25 years, Gross Automation has established itself as a successful distributor of manufacturing and automation parts. We are always looking for new opportunities to help grow and inspire others throughout the greater Milwaukee community, the State of Wisconsin, and the entire region.
